Minecraft National Park was a 2024 limited time release that celebrated the wildest corners of the Earth, educated players on how to preserve them by exploring nine diverse biomes and raised awareness about environmental conservation and combatting the effects of climate change. The map was built by 50 passionate Marketplace creators, engaged the community with a build challenge to create the park monument and had net proceeds and a $100K donation go to support the Nature Conservancy’s efforts including protecting 48,000 acres of land.
