G4C Türkiye Chapter, recently founded under the roof of BUG Lab (Bahcesehir University Game Laboratory, Istanbul), will be a meeting point for the indie game developers, academics, researchers and NGOs who want to focus on games and playful experiences to make a change and to trigger an impact not just for the issues in Türkiye but also for the region. G4C Türkiye will also create a new perspective for the growing Turkish gaming industry and rising indie game dev scene.

G4C Türkiye was announced for the first time during TechCamp İstanbul 2024 hackathon. It was a critical event for Türkiye because of the previous year’s major disaster. Hackathon started with a bootcamp where participants attended game development and serious game design workshops and seminars.
