Speaker Submissions

We're calling on the global G4C community to submit session ideas for the 2024 Games for Change Festival! 

Drawing inspiration from the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, the 2024 Games for Change Festival theme is The 2030 Marker: A Catalyst for Global Change. We’ll bring together global voices to ignite community engagement and drive social change, demonstrating how games break down barriers to connect people across generations and around the globe.

Key Dates: 
January 4, 2024: Portals Open
February 12, 2024: Portals Close
‍February: Review of Sessions
‍Early March: Outreach to accepted submissions

Session Formats: 
‍Talk: 20-minute sessions where 1-2 speakers discuss a topic or subject area of interest to the G4C community.
‍Panel: 45-minute sessions with 4-5 speakers. One speaker will act as the moderator and lead the discussion. Panels do not have Q&A from the audience.
‍Workshop: 45-minute sessions will help attendees explore the 2030 marker theme through a balanced mix of presentation and audience engagement. Workshops may include a short talk followed by interactive opportunities for small group discussion, gameplay, or hands-on activities. Workshops will focus on the “how-to” and provide attendees with tangible tools and outcomes to take with them.
